At the time I did not, but your blog provides a very great deal that would be of interest to him.

Are you in contact with Mr. Anderson? If not, would you be interested in his information?

My interest is in the Campbell, Hamilton and Dent families. The latter two migrated from MD to NC before the Rev War. The Campbells may have migrated from PA during the war.

Thank you,

Maureen Girard
maureen@redshift.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8385412465810036676.post-5340419023151668522008-02-05T12:02:00.000-08:002008-02-05T12:02:00.000-08:00Just a correctional comment to Mr. Bryce Knight’s ...Just a correctional comment to Mr. Bryce Knight’s analogy:

Matilda Anderson, daughter of Gabriel Anderson Jr., was born in 1802 in South Carolina, and she married Rev. Henry Dillon Collins in July 1823. She was only married once, and is identified in her father’s 1850 will as “Matilda Collins”. Her husband, Henry D. Collins, did not die until Feb. 1866. Therefore, Matilda Anderson Collins is definitely not the “Sally” Matilda (nee Anderson) King married to Jessie King enumerated on the McNairy County, Tennessee 1850 census as Mr. Knight has theorized.
C.
